Quite often, I find shells who have lived a full life. Their lives’ challenges mark their outside. Maybe that is what they have most in common with us humans.

Today’s excerpt:

At one quarter sized spot though, it had captured a
winter rainbow and mixed it all about. Violet and blue and pink swirls lit up the water
and it seemed it glowed. “Grandpa!” I called. “Look at this!”
